Level 5 Diploma in Healthcare Management (DipHCM)
Overview
This qualification aim to guide and assess development of knowledge, understanding and skills in management and advanced practice within health and social care. The qualification is suitable for Assistant Managers and Deputy Managers working in day or domiciliary services who are looking to progress their career. It is also appropriate for Managers who have not yet achieved a vocational qualification at this level. Programme Length The programme will typically be delivered as a 1‐ year full‐time study or a total of 42 weeks (including assignment submission weeks). Admission Criteria Appropriate entry requirements to the level of study are in place to ensure that applicants who have the likelihood of completing the programme are accepted. Age : Prospective students must be aged 16 years old or above. Education : Applicants must provide evidence of completion of a business-related course at level 4 OR a documented equivalent two-year fulltime work experience in a managerial or supervisory position. English language: Applicants whose first language is not English and/or have gained their qualifications from countries where English is not the official medium of instruction, must provide satisfactory evidence of their proficiency in English. |

Student will need to show that they meet each of the assessment criteria detailed within each unit, to the required standard for the level of the unit. For our international centres, students may need to go through examination administered by our examination partner 'British Council'. |
